This "Ship 'n Shore" 12 amp battery charger is the next step up for deep-cycle, marine and marine starting batteries. It charges and maintains most Marine Group 24 to 30, 12 volt wet-cell batteries. This unit is fully automatic - it maintains the battery when fully charged, and resumes continuous charging when battery becomes discharged. It charges up to 16 volts, making it suitable for Delco Voyager and similar eye-type batteries. The SS-120A-PE is microprocessor controlled, and provides a 3-step charging system that includes float-mode maintaining and desulfation mode. Desulfation actually extends the life of an aging battery. Multiple LEDs indicate the status of the unit. LEDs include Power On, Reverse Hook-up, Charging, Desulfation, Charged and Maintaining.
